The logo of the XXI General Chapter refers to the main theme:
„Do whatever he tells you” (Jn 2:5)
At the school of Mary Queen of the Apostles:
- let us listen and contemplate on the Word of God
- let us open ourselves to the newness of the Holy Spirit
- let us live and speak with joy
Mary, as the main Patroness of the Chapter, is present in the words she says to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you” (John 2:5). God speaks to us through the Word of Scripture. The open book of the Bible is a sign of our listening to and contemplating the Word.
The stone jar and the branch of the vine are our response to the Word and are a sign of God’s transforming power: water becomes an exquisite wine – a biblical sign of joy and an anticipation of the eschatological wedding feast, realized today in the Eucharist. Our joy in preaching is the fruit of conversion – openness to the newness of the Holy Spirit and staying in the vine that is Christ.
