The angel replied, “I am Gabriel. I stand in the presence of God, and I have been sent to speak to you and to convey to you this good news. But now, because you did not believe my words, which will be fulfilled at their appointed time, you will lose your power of speech and will become mute until the day that these things take place.” Lk 1:19f
Good news are announced to me. Do I believe in them? If I always became mute if I did not believe in the good news addressed to me, how often would I be mute?
