The Holy Mass was presided over by Rt. Rev. Edward Mapunda the Bishop of Singida. In His homily he challenged the consecrated religious by emphasizing the aspect of prayer, sacraments, service and vowed life. He said in the context of Tanzanian Church the first apostolate of religious is to teach the religion to the people. With joy and gratitude to God, Sr. Josephina D’Souza, Vicar General of our Congregation received the Final Vows of these four Sisters. The presence of Pallottine Fathers, Sisters of other Congregation and our sisters from different communities, lay UAC members, families and relatives of our sisters enhance the joyful celebration.

After the mass, all were invited for lunch and entertainments which took place in the Pallotti High School hall. We were amazed by the patience of our Bishop Edward Mapunda who stayed with us until the end of the program and imparted his final blessings. We continue to pray and congratulate our newly final professed Sisters as they dedicate their lives completely to God and the Church through our Congregation. May the passion and zeal of our Founder St. Vincent Pallotti animate them to be an authentic witness of joy in their selfless service to the humanity.

Sr. Florida Mjengi, SAC
