15 November – Ora et labora

The first working day of the Chapter is devoted to the reports of the Superior General and the General Treasurer. The day began with Holy Mass. during which, in reference to the Gospel of the day, Fr. Martin pointed to the need to open the eyes of faith – which means being sensitive and attentive to God and other people. The blind man from the Gospel of St. Luke and the saint of the day, St. Albert the Great, had a great desire to meet and know Christ. God, who is always new in the gifts of his love, invites each of us to be open to the other. Christ wants us to follow Him as seeing persons.
