On the afternoon of 5 January 2023, we met with the General Government of the CSAC Pallottine Sisters in our Generalate. During our prayer at the beginning of the meeting we gratefully brought before God the feelings of the past days – between birth and death: still in the Christmas season, in which we celebrate the birth of Jesus, the last days had been marked by the death and funeral of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI.
Earlier there had been several meetings on a smaller scale between the two congregations. Now it was a matter to consider which steps we want to take for further collaboration. In a dynamic sharing we could look at the very different experiences of our sisters. It became clear that for many of us it is important to learn more about each other and to get to better know the other congregation.
Finally, we looked at the joint celebration of our foundation date on Pentecost, which has already become a tradition in Rome, and at other events.
