In his homily Bishop Mapunda congratulated the Sisters on making the decision to serve the Lord in Religious Life and he encouraged them to imitate Mary the Mother of God in her simplicity in serving the Lord. He also emphasized the need for all Christians to live according to the values of the Gospel and they should by their prayer, help the Professed Sisters to live the life of Poverty, Chastity and Obedience in a perfect way.
Full of gratitude the newly Professed Sisters thanked the Lord for accepting them just as they are, and they thanked the Congregation of the Pallottine Missionary Sisters for accepting them as Members of the Pallottine Family. They danced and sang the Magnificat to express their joy and gratitude like Mary. All were asked to unite in prayer, so that the Lord will continue to send Labourers into His Vineyard, the Church.
The feast was enriched by visitors from different countries of the world, including our Novices from the International Novitiate in Arusha – Tanzania.
