Sunday, August 07, 2011 – Evening

In the evening of this great feastday we gathered together with many members of the community in the cemetery of Marienborn Convent. Everywhere lights were burning at the graves. We remembered the words of Jesus: “…fruit, that will last” (Jo 15).

We thank God for the fruit, which our pioneers and all those Sisters who have lived before us, have left to us: the witness of Love and Hope in the discipleship of Christ, – pioneers who went to the Cameroon and all our Sisters who worked on the Missions at home and abroad.
