From the 4th to the 9th of September, the Pan-African Congress for the Apostolate of the Laity took place in Yaounde, Cameroun. Its title was “You are the salt of the earth and the Light of the World.” Representatives from all African countries with their Cardinals and Bishops participated. Thanks to our presence in the John XXIII Center, Yaounde, we also had the possibility of participating in this congress. A wonderful atmosphere of peace and joy accompanied all the participants. Many people witnessed to and shared their deep faith and experience of God.
