Forever His : A joyful surrender
24th May will forever remain etched in my heart as a day of deep grace, joy, and surrender. Alongside four of my dear sisters Sr. Binita Tirkey, Sr. Sushmita Toppo, Sr. Vidya Toppo, Sr. Monalisa Minz, I Sr. Celeste Rochell De Souza had the immense privilege of making my final profession, offering my life wholly and joyfully to God. Our theme for this sacred occasion, “Living in Christ, Witnessing Hope,” was not just a motto but the very heartbeat of our journey and commitment.
The celebration took place at Pallotti Study Hall in Bangalore, enveloped in a spirit of peace and reverence. The solemn Eucharist was presided over by His grace Most Rev. Satish Kumar, Auxiliary Bishop of Bangalore whose presence and inspiring message touched us deeply and filled us with renewed strength for our mission ahead. He reminded us to remain in God’s love and have a sacrificial love.
As we stood before the altar, hearts full and voices firm, the love and support surrounding us were overwhelming. The presence of our Pallottine Family, our dear parents and relatives, religious and so many cherished guests made the day even more beautiful. I felt lifted by their prayers, their smiles, and the silent strength of their faith.
With every word of the vows, I felt a deep sense of freedom—a letting go into the arms of a God who calls and accompanies. It was a day of heaven touching earth, and I walked away not just professed, but transformed—ready to live in Christ and witness hope to the world.
After the Eucharist, the joy continued with heartfelt felicitation program, the joyful cutting of the cake and a festive meal shared in love and gratitude. It was a day marked by grace, joy and a deep sense of belonging. A memory I will carry in my heart forever.

Ten days before, on 14 May 2025 three postulantes namely Ansumala Burh, Ajitha Bilung, Rashmita Dungdung entered Novitiate at Deva Matha Convent, Assagao Goa, India. Sr. Inacinha Fernandes received them and shared a thought of late Pope Francis which he addressed to young seminarians whereby “God says I love you and am counting on you” at all times. The community thanked God and implored God’s blessings on them and prayed for the intercessions of Mary Queen of the Apostles and St. Vincent Pallotti. This was followed by cutting of the cake and congratulatory wishes to the Novice Mistress Sr. Helen Lourdusamy and the novices.
